Brexit: Belgian Ports and Operators Industry Day (Zeebrugge)

Tijdens dit event komen de Border Delivery Group en Britse regeringsleden samen voor een publiek van vertegenwoordigers uit de Europese vervoersindustrie waaronder de maritieme, trein en voertuigindustrie, inclusief Roll-on Roll-off distributieketen, die gebruikt wordt bij de overtocht van Britse havens naar de Belgische havens van Zeebrugge, Antwerpen en Gent. 

Dit event zal doorgaan in het Engels. 

The focus of the day will be:

• to update on key changes since the initial 22 January 2019 industry day, including sharing latest assumptions and expected changes to processes and procedures that may apply after the UK leaves the EU
• to focus on areas including customs procedures, import and export of food, live animals, animal products and feed, plants and fish and the impact on the transport infrastructure beyond the border points
• to enable industry representatives to share concerns, raise questions and provide feedback in a live interactive environment
• to address Day 1 no deal scenarios to assist in future readiness planning
